Southeast Tennessee Festivals and Events for December 2021

by | Dec 4, 2021 | Events | 0 comments

Here is a list of Southeast Tennessee festivals and events for December 2021. The Southeast portion tends to have the fewest events partly because it includes fewer counties and partly because I’m still looking for a really good source of information in the area. I know many will only be attending events centered around their own friends, families, and churches but I am sure at least a few are looking for more general admission events. December is a hectic time for everyone so information on these events is still coming in. You can also check out the Middle East Tennessee and Northeast Tennessee event lists

I will be spending time every day through at least the 11th looking for events to add to all the December lists but I’ll try and spend some extra time adding to this one.

Covid-19 is still active and we are now in cold and flu season so stay home if you think that’s best and take the necessary precautions to keep yourself and others safe when you do go out. Please follow any safety rules these events have in place. We advise checking websites or Facebook pages or calling ahead to make sure things haven’t been canceled or decided to change times and dates when possible.

The Event List (in calendar order)

Ongoing Events

Rock City’s Enchanted Garden Nights is happening nightly through January 2nd (except December 24th) at Lookout Mountain. Visit Santa in his workshop, see the new solar-powered Garden Arbor, take a stroll down the lighted Grand Corridor in Yule Town, and experience the twinkle of icy lights in the Arctic Kingdom. Pricing varies by day and age. The Garden Nights are included in a Rock City season pass but everyone, including pass holders, is required to reserve a visit time ahead online to help with social distancing.

Ending Thoughts

There is a separate post with information about Christmas parades. It covers all three divisions of East Tennessee has all the information I could find. If you can help me make that or this post more complete please contact me at LucindaBrown@TravelEastTennessee.com You can also contact me if you are the organizer or publicity manager of an upcoming event you would like included in future posts.

I will try to add to this post and update information (especially about cancelations) at least once a week.
