We’re the Brown family. We live in east Tennessee and we’ve spent a lot of time and traveled a lot of miles to see the best that Tennessee has to offer. We want to share our knowledge and experience with you.
In this blog, we provide travel tips and review attractions, restaurants, and more to help you make the most of your visit. We’ll talk about hiking, camping, conservation, animals, insects, plants, gear, and we’ll even provide a few how-to articles along the way. We’ll cover the large cities, small towns, the Smokies, and everything in between.

Why East Tennessee
East Tennessee is home to the most popular national park – the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Tennesse is also home to some of the most interesting cities and towns in the south east. Hike the trails, see waterfalls, see wildlife, stay in a cabin, visit museums, aquariums, zoos, Civil War battle sites, forts, and lots more.
A few of our favorite places include:
– Smoky Mountains
– Cades Cove
– Bald River Falls
– Ripley’s Aquarium
– Tennessee Aquarium
– Lost Sea
– Fort Loudon
– Knoxville Zoo
